Bethany Sweeps Pitt-Bradford

Fort Myers, Florida - The Bethany College baseball kicked off their spring break trip with a double-header against Pitt-Bradford early Sunday afternoon in Fort Myers, Florida. The Bison swept the Panthers 7-2 both games.

Game One Overview
Bethany defeated Pitt-Bradford, 7-2
The Panthers got on the board first in the top of the fourth plating two runs. The Bison would answer in the bottom of the fourth with a Noah Rady sacrifice fly scoring Tyler Frazee, cutting the Panther lead 2-1. The green and white added a run in the fifth inning knotting the game at 2-2. In the bottom of the sixth Bethany drove in five runs to take a 7-2 lead. A pinch hit single from Jake Stemmerich would drive in Rady and Kevin Roach. Neil Woods later drove in Stemmerich and Bishop.

Game Two Overview
Bethany defeated Pitt-Bradford, 7-2
In game two, the Bison struck first scoring in the top of the second from a Josh Lonero single, driving in Noah Rady. In the third, the green and white added on another run scoring Neil Woods from a Kevin Roach single. The Panthers, attacked in the bottom of the fifth, cutting the Bison lead to 2-1. The Bison added on three runs from a Jake Stemmerich pinch hit single, scoring Nate Marko, and an Ethan Young two run shot giving the Bison a 5-1 lead. The Panters added one run in the bottom of the sixth. In the top of the seventh, the green and white tacked on two more runs sealing the win over the Panthers.
