Fort Myers, Florida - The Bethany College baseball team split a non-conference double header against St. Joseph's (L.I.) at the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic early Monday afternoon in Fort Myers, Florida.

Game One Overview
Bethany fell 2-1 to St. Joseph's (L.I.)
The Bison stuck first in the top of the first inning. Kyle Goodwin drove in Ethan Young to give the Bison a 1-0 lead. In the bottom of the first St. Joseph's (L.I.) tied the ballgame at 1-1. St. Joseph's took a one run lead in the bottom of the third and held onto a one run lead for the remainder of the ball game.

Game Two Overview

In game two, the Golden Eagles got on the scoreboard first plating two in the top of the first inning. In the bottom of the first inning, Neil Woods drove in Ethan Young, cutting the lead in half, 2-1. The Bison and Golden Eagles held each other scoreless until the sixth inning. In the top of the sixth, St. Joseph's scored one extending their lead 3-1. In the bottom of the inning, the Bison added on runs of their own to take a 6-3 lead. Noah Rady drove in Michael Whiteherse and Neil Woods. Moments later, Brandon Wagner hit a long sacrifice fly, scoring Seth Gordon, knotting the ballgame at 3-3. Kiefer Bishop hit his first collegiate homerun that drives in Rady.
