Baseball to Host Fall Clinics and Alumni Game

Bethany, W.Va. – Bethany College and second year Head Coach Justin Thomas will host a youth baseball camp and prospect baseball camp at Bethany Park on October 13 and October 20.

The youth and prospect camp will be led by Coach Thomas and members of the staff along with members of the baseball team. On Sunday, October, 13 the youth camp will be held from 11 am – 1 pm and the prospect camp will be held on Sunday, October, 20 from 11 am – 1 pm.

The camps will be held rain or shine. If rain is in the forecast, the camps will be held inside the Thomas Phillips Johnson Health & Recreation Center. Athletes can register for the camp online using the link below. Cost for each participant is $45.

The Prospect Camp is open to players entering grades 10-12, who want to improve their skills and learn more about college level baseball.

The Bethany College baseball team will host an alumni game Saturday, October, 5 at 1 pm. Any alumni wishing to attend and/or participate are asked to email Coach Thomas at JDThomas@Bethanywv.edu.

Coach Thomas led the Bison to the PAC Championship for the first time since first time since 2001 and earned the Bison's first playoff victory in 2005. Bethany's 27 wins in the 2018 campaign tied the school record for most wins in a season.
