Jeremy Macauley returns for his second year as an assistant coach on Bill Garvey’s staff, where he will coach the offensive line.

Macauley's offensive line helped pave the way for Second-Team All-PAC performer Raekwon Wright to average 5.3 yards per carry in 2017, the sixth-highest total in the PAC.

A three-year starter at Division I Nevada, Macauley started 35 games over four seasons at guard for the Wolf Pack under former Head Coach Brian Polian, despite missing all but two games as a sophomore due to a season-ending knee injury.

He helped pave the way for two-time All-Mountain West honoree James Butler to eclipse 1,000 yards rushing in consecutive seasons in 2015-16 and earned the Pack’s Basalite Big Blocker Award following his senior campaign. In addition, he began his senior year on the preseason watch list for the Wuerffel Trophy, an award given annually to the college football player “who best combines exemplary community service with athletic and academic achievement”.

In 2015 Macauley was a member of the Nevada squad that finished the season second in the Mountain West Western Division and concluded the year with a 28-23 victory over Colorado State in the inaugural Arizona Bowl. Macauley helped the offense rack up 210 rushing yards per game which ranked 25th in the nation that season. He also earned Academic All-Mountain West honors following the season.

A graduate of Reed High School in Sparks, Nevada, Macauley was named a two-time first-team all-region selection and was tabbed the team’s Offensive MVP his senior year.  

Macauley earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Nevada, Reno in 2016 and is enrolled in Bethany’s Master of Arts in Teaching program.
