Men's golf takes eighth at Westminster Spring Invite

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (April 24) - The Bethany College men's golf team finished eighth overall at the Westminster College Spring Invite at the New Castle Country Club Monday afternoon.

The Bison were led on the scorecard by sophomore Ryan Senka (Cranberry Township, Pa. / Seneca Valley) who turned in a 16-over par 88 to tie for 24th in the 47 participant event which serves as a tune-up before the upcoming Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships this Friday and Saturday.

Saint Vincent won the team title at the event, including the low-score round of 76 by Bearcat golfer Nate Yackovich who took home medalist honors.

The Bison will now turn their attention to the PAC Championships on Friday and Saturday, April 28-29 at Cedarbrook Golf Course in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania.
