Men's Basketball Falls to No. 22 Baldwin Wallace

Berea, Ohio - The Bethany College men's basketball team traveled to Berea, Ohio for a non-conference contest against No. 22 Baldwin Wallace. The Bison fell 95-53 to the Yellow Jackets. Junior Dalton Hamrick led the Bison with 15 points and six boards.

GAME OVERVIEW

Baldwin Wallace started the game making back to back layups taking at 4-0 lead. The Bison got on the board from a Dalton Hamrick layup. The Yellow Jackets continued to build their lead to 17-6 with 12:15 to go in the first half. Khalil Wilson laid in a layup after an offensive rebound cutting the lead to 17-8.

Moments later, Carter Adams cut the lead to single digits with three freebies from the foul line. Yellow Jackets led 20-11 with 11:34 to go. A Wilson jump shot put the Bison within six but the Bison were held scoreless for the next four minutes of play. With 5:32 to go in the first half, a Hamrick three cut the Yellow Jacket lead to ten, 30-20. The Bison continued to battle in the first half, but trailed 42-28 going into the break.

In the second half, the Bison struck first from a Derek White Jr. layup. The Bison and Yellow Jackets exchanged buckets over the next couple of possessions. Then the Yellow Jackets would build on their lead extending the lead to 20. The Bison trailed by as many as 42.
