Men's Lacrosse: Bison Cruise in 17-2 win over Highlanders
Bethany, W.Va. – The Bethany College men's lacrosse team hosted Cairn University Highlanders in a snowy non-conference game Wednesday afternoon.
THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tyler Britton struck the back of the net first for the Bison with 13:24 to go in the first.
- The Bison led 4-0 after the first period. Aarin Burton scored Bethany's second goal of the game, followed by Britton and Clay Yingling.
- In the second period, the Bison extended their lead to 8-0 before the Highlanders could find the back of the net. Bethany took a 9-1 lead heading into the halftime break.
- In the second half, Bethany added eight goals and allowed one to earn the 17-2 victory.
BISON TOP PERFORMERS
- Tyler Britton had five goals on 10 shots (9 on goal). He scooped up 11 groundballs and caused one turnover.
- Clay Yingling had four goals, nine groundballs and four caused turnovers.
- Aarin Burton had three goals and one assist.
- Josh Allegra had two goals and a team high three assists.
- Jacob Ranttila had two assists.
- Andrew Smith had 23 saves.
