Men's Tennis Picked Sixth in Preseason Poll

Greenville, Pa. (Feb. 14) - The Bethany College men's tennis team was predicted to finish sixth in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Preseason Coaches' Poll released Thursday afternoon by the league office.

Grove City was selected as the preseason favorite this season, followed by Washington & Jefferson and Saint Vincent.

Geneva College was selected fourth and was followed by Westminster College in fifth. Bethany College and Waynesburg University tied for sixth. Thiel College was picked eighth.

In addition to the poll announcement, seniors Drake Berlin, Chris Ray, and Rhone Thrash were named to the 2019 PAC Men's Tennis Players to Watch list.
Berlin led the Bison last season with a record of 10-5 and Ray finished 5-10. Both Berlin and Ray played on the same doubles team, finishing 8-7 last season.

The tennis team returns to the courts Saturday, Feb. 16 at Mount Aloyius.
