Men's Tennis Wins Third Straight

Olean, NY - The Bethany College men's tennis team rolled past Pitt-Bradford in a non-conference match Sunday afternoon inside St. Bonaventure Fitness Center. The Bison have won three straight matches giving them a 3-2 record on the season.

In doubles play the Bison picked up three wins. Chris Ray and his partner Drake Berlin defeated their foes 8-4. Rhone Thrash and Raj Vijayarajah routed their opponents 8-3. Geoffrey Foster and his partner Adam Franco rolled past their opponents 8-1.

Berlin, Ray, Thrash, Franco, and Foster picked up wins in their singles matches. Berlin overpowered his opponent 6-0 and 6-0. Thrash won his match 6-1 and 6-1. Ray edged his opponent 7-6 and 6-4.

Adam Franco picked up the win over his challenger 6-0 and 6-4. Geoffrey Foster continued his winning ways, defeating his foe, 6-0 and 6-1.

Bethany returns to the court Friday, March 8 in a non-conference match against Muskingum.
