Berlin and Foster Sweep PAC Weekly Honors

Greenville, Pa (Mar. 4) – Bethany College tennis players Drake Berlin and Geoffrey Foster were announced as Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Player and Rookie of the week for their performance last week.

Berlin picked up a pair of wins at No. 4 in singles play and went 2-0 with his partner Chris Ray at No. 1 in doubles play. Against Madaille, the senior posted a 6-0, 6-1 win after teaming with Ray downing their opponents, 8-3. On Sunday, Berlin defeated his opponent 6-0, 6-0 after partnering with Ray to defeat thier foes, 8-4.

Freshmen Geoffrey Foster continued his winning ways picking up a pair of wins this past weekend against Medaille and Pitt-Bradford. On Saturday, he routed he opponent 6-2, 6-3. Against Pitt-Bradford, Foster rolled by his opponent 6-0, 6-1. In doubles play, Foster and his partner Adam Franco, picked up a 8-1 win.

The weekly laurel is the first for Foster and Berlin this season.
