Bethany men tabbed sixth in PAC Indoor Preseason Poll

GREENVILLE, Pa. (Dec. 1) - The Bethany College men's track & field team was selected to finish seventh in the annual Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Preseason Indoor Track & Field Poll released Friday afternoon.

Defending league-champion Thomas More was chosen as the preseason favorite, while Geneva, Westminster, Washington & Jefferson and Grove City rounded out the top-five.

Four members of the men's team was announced as Athletes to Watch, including seniors Jordan Hunkins (Zanesville, Ohio/West Muskingum) and Ed Maxwell (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley), junior Marshall Murray (Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn Hills) and sophomore Baboucar Sallah-Mohammed (Arlington, Va./Fishburne Academy).

A small group of the men's team will open the season tomorrow, Saturday, December 2 when they compete at the Marty Pushkin Track Classic hosted by West Virginia University in Morgantown at the WVU Shell Building.

This year's league championships are scheduled for Thursday, February 22 at YSU's WATTS. Events will get underway at 2 p.m.
