Sallah-Mohammed tabbed PAC Field Athlete of the Week

GREENVILLE, Pa. (Dec. 4) – After establishing a personal-record and an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) qualifying mark on Saturday, Bethany College sophomore Baboucar Sallah-Mohammed was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Indoor Field Athlete of the Week announced the league Monday afternoon.

Sallah-Mohammed established a new indoor-outdoor personal record in the long jump with a leap of 23 feet, 0.75 inches (7.03 meters) at the West Virginia University Marty Pushkin Classic to win the event and give him a qualifying-mark for the ECAC Indoor Championships in February.

It is the second PAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor for Sallah-Mohammed. Last season he earned the league's top-weekly honor on February 6, 2017. The Arlington, Virginia native also was tabbed the indoor rookie of the week once last season.

Sallah-Mohammed and the Bison track & field team's will return to competition on Saturday, January 13 when they head back to Morgantown, West Virginia for the WVU Open.
