GREENVILLE, Pa. (March 9) - The Bethany College men's outdoor track & field team was tabbed to finish fourth this season according to the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Preseason Coaches Poll released Friday morning by the league office.

Defending outdoor-champion Geneva, who recently earned the indoor title last month, was picked to win the PAC Championships. The outdoor championships will be hosted by Westminster at Burry Stadium on Wednesday and Thursday, April 25-26. Washington & Jefferson and Thomas More rounded out the top-three in the poll.

In addition to the preseason poll, the league released its annual "Athletes to Watch" list, which included recent U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Indoor All-Region selections Marshall Murray (Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn Hills) and Baboucar Sallah-Mohammed (Arlington, Va./Fishburne Military). Senior thrower Jordan Hunkins (Zanesville, Ohio/West Muskingum) and senior hurdler Ed Maxwell (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley) were also named to the list.

The Bison will begin their outdoor season next week when they head to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to compete in the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational hosted by Coastal Carolina. The two-day event will begin on Friday, March 16.
