PAC, ECAC name Sallah-Mohammed Field Athlete of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. (March 28) - Bethany College men's track & field sophomore Baboucar Sallah-Mohammed (Arlington, Va./Fishburne Military) has been tabbed the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III South Field Athlete of the Week announced the organization Wednesday.

He was also named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week Monday afternoon.

Sallah-Mohammed established a new outdoor personal-record in the triple jump with a mark of 13.84 meters (45 feet, five inches) at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational hosted by Muskingum Saturday. That distance currently ranks seventh in Division III this season. Sallah-Mohammed also turned in a third place distance in the long jump with a leap of 6.46 meters (21 feet, 2.5 inches).

The PAC weekly award is the fifth this season for Sallah-Mohammed and first of the outdoor season. 

The Bison men's and women's track & field teams will host the annual Bethany Invitational on Saturday, March 31 at Bison Stadium.
