Softball Swept at Heidelberg
Tiffin, Ohio - The Bethany College softball team took on Heidelberg in a non-conference doubleheader Sunday afternoon. The Bison dropped both games to the Berg.
Game One Overview
Bethany fell 4-3 to Heidelberg
The Berg jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the second inning. The Bison knotted the game a 1-1 in the fourth inning off of a Jennifer Oberthur single that scored Erica Amoroso. However, the Berg answered right back in the bottom half of the inning, regaining the lead. Bethany took a 3-2 lead in the seventh inning. Gabby Capaldi singled driving in Kathleen Fuchs. The green and white couldn't hang on to the lead, Heidelberg earned the walk off win in game one.

It was a low scoring affair in game two. Heidelberg plated two runs to take a 2-0 lead. In the fifth inning, Bethany Tyra Bell scored on a throwing error to cut the lead in half.
