Judulang, Stresky selected to All-PAC teams

GREENVILLE, Pa. (Feb. 15) – Bethany College swimming & diving sophomores Mia Judulang (Cupertino, Calif./Monta Vista) and Cheyne Stresky (Oxford, Mich./Oxford) were named All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced the league office Wednesday afternoon.

Judulang was tabbed a first-team selection on the women's side, while Stresky earned second-team all-conference honors for the second-straight year on the men's end.

Judulang registered a mark of 424.90 in the one-meter dive to place fifth overall at the PAC Championships last week, recording a NCAA Division III Regional qualifying mark in the process. She became the first female is school-history to qualify for an NCAA regional event in either diving or swimming. Judulang will attempt to qualify for the national event when she heads to Ithaca, New York on Friday and Saturday, February 24-25 for an NCAA Regional qualifying event.

She is the first women's swimming & diving all-conference selection at Bethany since 2008, when former Bison Desiree Finley (first team) and Sara Patnesky (honorable mention) were named All-PAC.

Stresky, a 2016 second team selection, led the efforts of the men's team and set four school records at the PAC Championships. He finished third in the 100-yard backstroke on Friday with a time of 51.88 seconds (new school record). Stresky followed it up on Saturday with a fourth place finish in the 200-yard backstroke, touching the wall in one minute, 53.50 seconds (new school record). He also established new records in the 50 freestyle (21.44 seconds) and the 100 freestyle (47.39 seconds).

The all-conference swimming and diving teams are determined by a formula-based selection process using student-athletes' individual and relay finishes at the conference's annual championships.
