GREENVILLE, Pa. (Dec. 22) - Bethany College women's basketball senior forward Kelsea Daugherty (Newport, Ohio/Frontier) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Player of the Week announced the league office Friday morning.

Daugherty averaged 29.0 points and 8.5 rebounds last week in a pair of Bison double-digit road wins. She totaled 32 points and nine rebounds in Monday's 72-62 win over Mount Aloysius before finishing with 26 points and eight boards in Tuesday's 74-53 win at Allegheny. Daugherty shot at a 66.7 percent (20-of-30) clip from the floor in the two victories. She ranks second in the PAC in scoring (19.7/game) and rebounding (9.5/game) and is third in field goal percentage (54.1%).

Daugherty has quickly risen up the ranks on the all-time lists at Bethany. She currently ranks sixth in school history with 1,636 points; eight points behind former Bison Stephanie Cunningham (1994-99) for fifth all-time. The Newport, Ohio native also has 815 career rebounds, which ranks third in school history (she needs 106 more boards to move into second place all-time at Bethany).

Daugherty and the rest of the Bison will take a break for the holiday, before returning to the Hummel Field House court to host Franciscan on Friday, December 29 at 4 p.m.

Due to the upcoming holiday breaks taking place throughout the league, the PAC's weekly releases and awards announcements have an adjusted distribution schedule.
