Women's Basketball Introduces Incoming Freshmen Class

Bethany's Season Ends with Loss to Thiel

The Bethany College women's basketball team hosted the Thiel Tomcats for a President's Athletic Conference (PAC) first round playoff match. The Bison fell to the Tomcats, 68-55. The Bison were led by sophomore Makayla Reynolds with 17 points and six boards. The green and white concluded their season 13-13 (8-8), while Thiel is now 7-19 (4-12).
Seniors propel Bison past Yellowjackets

The Bethany College women's basketball team celebrated senior night and concluded the regular season on Saturday afternoon, for a President's Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup against the Waynesburg Yellowjackets. The Bison rolled past the Yellowjackets, 88-76. Bethany had five players who hit double figures, led by senior Sammie Weiss with 23 points and senior Ashley Duthie’s double-double with 12 points and team high 11 boards. The green and white are now 13-12 (8-8), while Waynesburg Yellowjackets is 8-17 (6-10). In only Coach Sansom’s third year, the Bison finish over .500 in the regular season since the 2011-12 season.

The Bethany College women's basketball team returned home for a President's Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup to face the Washington and Jefferson Presidents. The Bison were edged by the Presidents, 66-56. Bethany was led by senior Sammie Weiss with 25 points. The green and white are now 12-12 (7-8), while Washington and Jefferson is 17-7 (12-3).
Women's Basketball Rolls Past Titans

The Bethany College women's basketball team traveled to New Wilmington, Pa. for a President's Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup to face the Westminster College Titans. The Bison rolled past the Titans, 58-50. Bethany had four score double digits, led by senior Sammie Weiss with 16 points. The green and white are now 12-11 (7-7), while Westminster is now 8-16

The Bethany College women's basketball team returned home for a President's Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup against the St. Vincent Bearcats. The Bison fell to the Bearcats, 81-34. Senior Sammie Weiss led the Bison with 10 points. The green and white are now 11-11 (6-7), while St. Vincent is now 18-4 (12-1).

The Bison fell to the Tomcats, 77-69. Senior Sammie Weiss led the Bison with 24 points. The green and white are now 11-10 (6-6), while Thiel is now 5-15 (3-8).
