WOOSTER, Ohio (BethanyBison.com) - The Bethany College Women's Soccer team was handed a 4-nil defeat by the hands of Wooster College on the road Sunday, Sept. 16.

THE MATCHUP

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • After the Fighting Scots got on the board just 25 seconds into the game, Wooster tacked on an insurance goal in the 21st minute.

  • In the second half, Wooster used another pair of goals as the Bison were shutout for the second time this season.

GAME NOTES

  • In between the posts for the second time this season, freshman Alex Moore (Portland, Ore./Glencoe) faced a season-high 10 shots on goal, tallying six saves on the day, as she now moves to 0-2 on the season.

  • The Green and White were held to its least amount of shots for the campaign at two. Senior Lexie Metz (Frostburg, Md./Mountain Ridge) and sophomore Celeste Marchbanks (Leavenworth, Kan./Leavenworth) were both able to get to get their foot on the ball but both attempts veered wide.
