Bison pick up victory at Pitt.-Greensburg, 8-1
GREENSBURG, Pa. (Sept. 2) - The Bethany College women's tennis team earned an 8-1 win over Pitt.-Greensburg Sunday afternoon in a non-conference match.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The freshman No. 1 doubles team of Wesley Crockett (Fort Stockton, Texas/Fort Stockton) and Megan McDonald (Uniontown, Pa./Laurel Highlands) earned an 8-5 win.
- Crockett went on to claim a straight sets win at No. 1 singles to post two points for the Bison
- Senior Emily Folk (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) and freshman Brooke Provenzano (New Cumberland, W.Va./Oak Glen) notched an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles, while a forfeit at No. 3 doubles helped secure a 3-0 lead.
- Both Provenzano and Folk went on to claim straight-set wins at No. 2 and No. 4 singles, respectively.
- Senior Ashley Cass (Cecil, Pa. / Canon McMillian) also contributed to the team score with a victory at No. 3 singles.

- Bethany will play its home-opener and PAC-opener on Thursday, September 6 when it hosts Washington & Jefferson.
