Three from women's track & field team compete at ECAC

BALTIMORE (May 17) - A trio of Bethany College women's track & field athletes competed at the annual Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Outdoor Championships hosted by Johns Hopkins Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.
Junior Patience Frazier (Washington, Pa./Washington) finished in third place in the javelin throw with a distance of 34.82 meters (114 feet, three inches).
Sophomore Amanda Gower (Washington, Pa./Trinity) placed 11th overall in the 400-meter dash with a time of one minute, 1.53 seconds.
Junior Leighanna Frantz (East Liverpool, Ohio/East Liverpool) took 12th overall in the high jump after clearing 1.42 meters (four feet, 7.75 inches).
