Bison Win Third Match in Straight Sets

GREENVILLE, Pa. – For the second time this season the Bethany College volleyball team beat Thiel College sweeping the match in three sets (25-20, 25-18, 25-19) on Tuesday night.  For the third straight match, the Bison won in straight sets, and once again they were led by junior outside hitter Katie Sparks, registering a double-double with 11 kills and 17 digs.

 
Against the Tomcats, the duo of Jenna Scott and Emily Duke registered 17 and 14 assists respectively and Reilly Parker added 24 digs.  As a team the Bison held Thiel to a .034 attack percentage and recorded eight team blocks.

With the win the Bison improve their overall record to 17-8 and are 5-1 in the month of October.  Bethany heads to New Wilmington for a huge conference tilt with #1 ranked Westminster College on Thursday.
