The Bison Headed East for NCAA Regionals

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (BethanyBison.com) - The Bethany College volleyball team will kick off postseason play when the Green and White head to Huntingdon, Pa. for the start of the NCAA Regionals, Friday-Saturday, Nov. 9-10, which will be hosted by Juniata College at the Memorial Gymnasium.

The Bison, who enters the national playoff with a 22-9 record, punched their ticket to the NCAA tournament as the President's Athletic Conference automatic bid after winning the conference championships in a straight set against Westminster College, Saturday, Nov. 3.

Bethany opens the weekend with a bout against No. 25 Christopher Newport (25-5 overall), Friday, Nov. 9. The Captains enter the weekend after claiming its second-consecutive Capital Athletic Conference championship to snag the league's automatic bid as it survived a five-game battle with Mary Washington, Saturday, Nov. 3.

The winner of Friday's tilt will advance to the Regional Semifinals, Saturday, Nov. 10, against the victor of the Thomas Moore - Pitt-Bradford showdown. The Regional Championship will take place on Sunday, Nov. 11.

In addition to the four squads, the Bison will be joined in Huntingdon by host, No. 6 Juniata, Notre Dame (Md.), Marymount (Va.), and Mary Washington.

Bethany is making its second ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament, both under the helm of Head Coach Courtney Kline. The last appearance for the Green and White is dated back to the 2016 season when Bethany fell to Wittenberg University, 3-0, in Grand Rapids, Mich.
