Bison Volleyball Places Five on All-PAC Teams: Snyder Named Rookie of the Year

Greenville, Pa – The Presidents’ Athletic Conference released its All-PAC women’s volleyball teams and conference award winners Tuesday afternoon. Headlining the honorees were First-Team All-PAC selection Katie Sparks (Macedonia, Ohio | Trinity) along with first-team selection and PAC Rookie of the Year winner, Sydney Snyder (Steubenville, Ohio | Steubenville).
Bethany's Season Ends in PAC Tournament Quarterfinal

Bethany College women’s volleyball hosted the Grove City Wolverines in the PAC Quarterfinal round Tuesday evening inside Hummel Field House. The Bison fell to Grove City in a heartbreaking match, 3-1 (25-19, 16-25, 23-25, 21-25). The green and white conclude their season, 17-15 (12-4). Senior outside hitter Katie Sparks finished her outstanding career as a Bison in the loss with 11 kills, 15 digs, three blocks, and three aces. Sparks lands in the top ten of three All-Time Records list. She finishes her career third in kills (1,418), eighth in digs (1,284), and tenth in services aces (139).
Bison Continue to Roll, Sweeping the Yellow Jackets

Bethany College women’s volleyball hosted the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets in the final regular season home match this season. The Bison continue to roll, sweeping the Yellow Jackets, 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-22).
Bison Take Down Titans In Five Set Thriller

Bethany College women’s volleyball hosted the Westminster Titans in a PAC showdown Tuesday evening inside Hummel Field House. The Bison defeated the Titans in a five set thriller, 3-2 (25-20, 20-25, 25-20, 20-25, 16-14).
Sparks Earns PAC Player of the Week Honors

Bethany College women’s volleyball traveled to Pittsburgh, Pa for a PAC contest against the Chatham Cougars Saturday afternoon inside the Athletic & Fitness Center. The Bison handed the Cougars a 3-1 (25-19, 25-15, 19-25, 25-17) decision.

Bethany College women’s volleyball traveled across the border to Washington, Pa for a PAC contest against the Washington and Jefferson Presidents, Tuesday evening. The Bison defeated the Presidents, 3-1 (26-24, 25-17, 19-25, 25-19).

Bethany College women’s volleyball hosted the Geneva Golden Tornadoes for a PAC contest early Saturday afternoon. Prior to the match, Bethany honored their five seniors. The Bison were defeated 3-0 by the Golden Tornadoes (25-19, 25-9, 25-14).
Bison Sweep the Tomcats in Annual Dig Pink Game

Bethany College women’s volleyball hosted the Thiel Tomcats in a PAC contest Thursday evening. The Bison wore pink to help spread awareness for Breast Cancer for their annual Dig Pink Game. The green and white swept the Tomcats, 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 27-25).

Bethany College women’s volleyball traveled to Annville, Pa for a tri-match between Cabrini and Lebanon Valley held at Sorrentino Gymnasium. The Bison dropped the first match against Cabrini 3-1 (23-25, 25-13, 24-26, 20-25). In the second match of the day against Lebanon Valley, Bethany swept the Dutchmen, 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-18).

Bison Finish Worthington Classic with a Win

Bethany College women’s volleyball traveled to Washington D.C for the Worthington Classic hosted by Gallaudet this weekend. The Bison went 1-3 in the tournament, picking up a win against Penn St.-Abington, 3-1. Senior Rachel Gantzer earned all-tournament honors for the Bison.
