Volleyball: Bethany Falls to Top-Seeded Westminster in PAC Championship

New Wilmington, Pa. – The #2 seed Bethany Bison fell to top-seeded Westminster Titans in the PAC Championship on Ron Galbreath Court inside Buzz Ridl Gymnasium Saturday evening.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Westminster took set one 25-13.
- Bethany bounced back and gained momentum competing with Westminster in set two, but the Titans squeezed by and took the set, 29-27.
- The Titans kept momentum and took the final set 25-14.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Sophomore Destiny Goodnight led the Bison with nine kills.
- Middle Blocker Emma Marthins had eight kills and outside hitter Jess Moore added seven.
- Setter Alaina Torres had a team-high 30 assists, while freshman Asia Crim finished the match with a team-high 16 digs.
INSIDE THE MATCH
- Senior Jess Moore and Sophomore Emma Marthins earned a spot on the PAC All-Tournament Team.
- Bethany has advanced to the championship match five times since 2011 with the last PAC Championship coming in 2018.
- Westminster has won three-straight PAC Championships.
- Senior Jess Moore finishes her career with 620 kills, 88 blocks and 278 digs. She averaged 3.25 kills per set.
- Bethany concluded their season 17-11 (13-5 PAC).
