Women's cross country team named USTFCCA All-Academic

NEW ORLEANS (Feb. 12) – The Bethany College women's cross country team was announced as an All-Academic Team by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) this past weekend by the organization.
The women's team received the honor with a combined team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.15 in the fall semester. Recently, five members of the team landed on the PAC Academic Honor Roll after achieving at least a 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the fall semester.
For a team to receive this distinction, it must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Meet AND have a minimum GPA of 3.10 on a 4.00 scale. A total of 388 teams across NCAA Division III earned the honor, with 221 being women's squads and 167 men's teams.
