Cross Country opens season at Muskingum Relays

NEW CONCORD, Ohio (Aug. 31) – The Bethany College cross country teams opened its 2018 season at the Muskingum Relays Friday evening.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

• The Bison men were paced by a second-place finish from sophomore Andrew Weiss (Washington, Pa./Linsly School (W.Va.)), who crossed the final line in 22 minutes, 51 seconds.
• The women were led by freshman Kelly Hofmann (Austintown, Ohio/Austintown Fitch). Hofmann earned ninth-place with a time of 20 minutes, eight seconds.
• Bethany was joined at the event by Marietta and host-Muskingum.
