Bison Aid Record Setting 1,057 PAC Academic Honor Roll Members
TRAFFORD, Pa. - Bethany College student-athletes are amongst the record-setting 1,057 honorees the Presidents' Athletic Conference has named to the Academic Honor Roll. Sixty-seven Bison earned a spot on the conference's Academic Honor Roll during the spring 2025 semester.
The PAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of championship competition.
Softball dominated the Honor Roll, leading Bethany's efforts with 13 athletes. Baseball and women's basketball also cracked double digits, earning 10 spots each.
Following in suit was women's lacrosse (8), men's lacrosse (7), women's track and field (6), women's swim (4), men's golf (4), men's volleyball (3), men's basketball (3), and women's golf (2).
While the PAC recognizes men's wrestling in the honor roll, women's wrestling has not had a conference championship to earn distinction for the PAC honor roll. However, it is worth noting Bethany College posted two National Wrestling Coaches Association Academic All-Americans.
The 1,057 student-athletes on this Spring's list surpasses the previous record of 929 that was set last spring. Throughout the 2024-25 year of competition, the PAC had a combined 1,954 student-athletes earn Academic Honors, staying true to the name "student athlete".
