Baseball to Host Fall Clinics and Alumni Game

Woods named to ABCA/Rawlings Mideast All-Region Third Team

The 2019 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-Region teams and Regional Players of the Year have been announced in all eight regions. The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America Committee. Bethany College senior baseball player Neil Woods (Pittsburgh, Pa | North Allegheny) was selected 2019 Mideast All-Region Third Team.
Woods Earns PAC First Team Honors

Senior first basemen Neil Woods was selected to the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) First Team, which was announced Tuesday afternoon. Ballots for the all-conference teams and annual award winners were voted on by the PAC's head coaches.
Baseball Closes 2019 Season

The Bethany College baseball team took on the Washington and Jefferson Presidents in the PAC Tournament championship Saturday afternoon. The Bison fell to the Presidents, 8-1. The green and white finished their season 27-16 (14-10). Bethany tied the single season record for most wins in a season.
Baseball Advances to PAC Championship

The Bethany College baseball team took on the Waynesburg Yellowjackets and the Grove City Wolverines in the PAC tournament Friday afternoon. Bethany eliminated Waynesburg in the first elimination game of the PAC tournament, defeating the Yellowjackets 12-9. With the victory over Waynesburg, Bethany won their first playoff game since 2005.

The Bethany College baseball team took on the Washington & Jefferson Presidents in the first round of the PAC Tournament. The Bison fell to the Presidents, 12-0. The green and white look to bounce back tomorrow at 3 pm.
Bison Closeout Regular Season with Split

The Bethany College baseball team took on the La Roche University Redhawks Saturday afternoon in a non-conference doubleheader. The Bison and Redhawks split. The green and white took game one, 2-1 and fell in game two 3-2. Bethany finishes the regular season 25-14 (14-10).

The Bethany College baseball team took on the Westminster Titans in a PAC nine inning contest. The Titans edged the Bison 12-11.
Bethany Splits on Senior Day

The Bethany College baseball team took on the Westminster Titans in a PAC doubleheader. Prior to the contest the Bison recognized their 10 seniors for their contributions over their college careers. Bethany and Westminster split on the day.

The Bethany College baseball team took on the Geneve Golden Tornadoes in a PAC nine inning contest Wednesday afternoon. The Bison clipped the Golden Tornadoes 6-4.
Bethany Wins Extra Inning Thriller Against Grove City

The Bethany College baseball team took on the Grove City Wolverines in a PAC nine inning contest Monday afternoon. The Bison edged the Wolverines in 11 innings taking the rubber match of the series 3-2. Ethan Young’s triple in the top of the 11th drove in the speedy Brandon Wagner to give the green and white the lead.
Bethany Sweeps Chatham

The Bethany College baseball team took on the Chatham Cougars in a PAC doubleheader. The Bison swept the Cougars in the three game series. The green and white defeated the Cougars in game one 4-3 in a walk off homerun off the bat of Tyler Alworth in 10 innings. In game two, the Bison cruised by with a 7-4 win over the Cougars. Bethany reaches 20 wins in a season for the first time since 2010.
Offense Explodes for 21 Runs in Win at Chatham

The Bethany College baseball team took on the Chatham Cougars in a nine inning contest Friday afternoon. The Bison exploded for 21 runs on 16 hits defeating the Cougars, 21-8. Senior Nick Gross picked up his 100th career strikeout today in the win. With four strikeouts today, Gross is now tied for 10th all-time in school history with 102 strikeouts. Neil Woods was a homerun shy of the cycle and Tyler Alworth and Tyler Frazee had five RBI's each.
Bethany Snaps W&J's 16 Game Win Streak

The Bethany College baseball team took on the Washington & Jefferson Presidents in a nine inning contest Monday afternoon. The Bison snapped the Presidents 16 game win streak and defeated the Presidents for the first time since the 2014 campaign. Tyler Alworth pitched the distance going all nine innings and picked up his fourth win of the season.
