Washington, Pa - The Bethany College baseball team took on the Washington & Jefferson Presidents in a PAC doubleheader. The Bison were swept by W&J.

Game One Overview

Bethany fell to W&J, 7-0

The Presidents scored in the bottom of the third and took a 5-0 lead after four innings. W&J added two insurance runs in the fifth inning and took game one 7-0. The Bison were held to six hits and held scoreless for the only the third time this season.

Game Two Overview
Bethany fell 4-3 to W&J

The Presidents struck first in game two going ahead 2-0 in the bottom of the third. Neil Woods hit a long ball to left field to give cut the Presidents lead in half. In the bottom half of the fourth inning, the Presidents added another run, going ahead 3-1. In the fifth inning Bethany scored two runs to knot the ballgame at 3-3. Seth Gordon doubled to left center scoring Kyle Goodwin. Moments later, Noah Rady reached first on a muffed throw scoring Seth Gordon. The Presidents would go ahead in the seventh inning from a homerun.
