Bethany Splits on Senior Day

Bethany, W.Va - The Bethany College baseball team took on the Westminster Titans in a PAC doubleheader. Prior to the contest the Bison recognized their 10 seniors for their contributions over their college careers. Bethany and Westminster split on the day.

Game One Overview

Bethany fell to Westminster, 3-1

The Titans took a quick 2-0 lead in the first inning. Bethany cut the lead in half in the third inning, off of an Ethan Young double down the line driving in Josh Lonero. The Titans added an insurance run in the sixth inning.

Game Two Overview
Bethany Rolled Past the Titans, 11-6

The Titans scored first off of a double in the first. The Bison struck back in the bottom half of the inning. Neil Woods singled driving in Ethan Young. Moments later, Ryan Anselmino drove in Neil Woods and Seth Gordon. Bethany led 3-1 after one. In the second inning, the Titans knotted the ballgame at 3-3. The Bison regained the lead in the fourth inning when Kyle Goodwin flew out to left field scoring Ryan Anselmino. In the fifth inning, Tyler Frazee doubled to centerfield, scoring Neil Woods. Bethany scored again in the sixth inning. Kiefer Bishop doubled down the right field line scoring Neil Woods and Ethan Young. The Bison scored off of a bases loaded hit by pitch. In the eighth inning, Tyler Frazee hit a 2-run Bison blast to left field. Bethany won the second game 11-6.
