BETHANY, W.Va. (Mar. 21) - The Bethany College men's lacrosse team fell to North Central (Ill.) 21-3 on Tuesday evening.
With the loss, Bethany drops to 3-4 and North Central improves to 6-0 on the year.
Senior Jake Holland (Canton, Ohio/Jackson) found the back to the net twice and added and assist, while Tyler Peck (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) scored the third goal for the Bison. Goalie Sean Rhodes (Indiana, Pa./Indiana) stopped 19 shots in the effort.
The Cardinals got off to a hot start scoring four goals in the first 10 minutes. Just before the end of the quarter, Peck got the Bison on the board.
In the second quarter Holland netted a man up goal at the 11:39 mark before the visitors went into half with the 7-2 advantage.
Next up, Bethany hosts Washington and Jefferson on Saturday, March 25 in an ORLC matchup slated to start at 1pm.
