Second Half Surge Lifts Hiram Over Bethany

Bethany, W. Va - The Bethany College men's lacrosse took on Hiram in a non-conference tilt Wednesday evening at Bison Stadium. The Bison fell 8-2 to the Terriers.

GAME OVERVIEW
It was a defensive battle with neither team netting a goal until the under-five minute mark in the first period. Nick Melita put the Bison on the board first with 4:06 to go in the first period. Hiram would answer in less than a minute to tie the game at 1-1.

Bethany would score first in the second period with under six minutes to go in second period. The Bison and Terriers head into halftime knotted at 2-2.

The Bison and Terriers battled in the first half holding each other to two goals apiece, but the second half would be a different story in favor of the Terriers. Hiram scored two goals in the third period to go up 5-2.

The green and white would keep battling but couldn't find the net in to climb back in. Hiram scored four unanswered goals to pick up the win.
