Men's Tennis Picks Up First Win of Season

Altoona, Pa – The Bethany College men's tennis team defeated Penn St.-Altoona, 6-3 in a non-conference match Sunday afternoon inside Gorilla House Gym.

All three of Bethany's doubles teams defeated Penn St. Altoona. Chris Ray and Rhone Thrash rolled past their opponents 8-1. Drake Berlin and Geoffrey Foster defeated their opponents 8-4. Lastly, Raj Vijayarajah and Tyler Beck won 8-6.

Berlin, Thrash, and Foster all picked up wins in their singles matches. Berlin overpowered his opponent 6-1 and 6-0. Thrash won his match 6-3 and 6-2. Foster picked up his second win of the season, defeating his foe, 6-2 and 6-2.

Bethany returns to the court Saturday, March 2 in a non-conference match against Medialle.
