Women's Basketball's Season Ends at Waynesburg
February 24, 2020
Waynesburg, Pa – The Bethany College women’s basketball team traveled to Waynesburg, Pa to face the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets for the first round of the PAC Tournament Monday evening. The Yellow Jackets rolled past the Bison, 79-65 to end the Green and White’s season. Courtney Walker led the Bison with 22 points.

Waynesburg, Pa – The Bethany College women’s basketball team traveled to Waynesburg, Pa for the final PAC regular season game against the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets Saturday afternoon that took place inside Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse. The Bison fell to the Yellow Jackets 70-58, giving Waynesburg home court advantage for the first round of the PAC Tournament on Monday, February 24. The Green and White were led by sophomore Kelsie Meintel’s double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Presidents Cruise in Victory over Bison

Washington, Pa. – The Bethany College women’s basketball team traveled across the border to Washington, Pa for a PAC matchup against the Washington & Jefferson College Presidents. The Presidents used a 20 point fourth quarter to cruise by the Bison, 59-37. Sophomore Courtney Walker led the Green and White with 15 points. Kelsie Meintel had a team high 11 rebounds.

Bethany, W.Va – The Bethany College women’s basketball team returned to Hummel Field House for a PAC contest against the Westminster College Titans Saturday afternoon. The Titans used a strong first half to seal the win over the Bison, 74-50. Courtney Walker led the Green and White with 13 points and eight rebounds.

Latrobe, Pa – The Bethany College women’s basketball team traveled to Latrobe, Pa for a PAC road contest against the Saint Vincent Bearcats. The Bison were handed an 89-47 loss to the Bearcats. Sophomore Courtney Walker led the Green and White with 16 points. Junior Allison Kuhn added 15 points and six rebounds.

Bethany, W.Va – The Bethany College women’s basketball team hosted the Chatham University Cougars Saturday afternoon, inside Hummel Field House in front of an electric crowd. A strong fourth quarter propelled the Bison passed the Cougars, 62-55. Courtney Walker led the Green and White with 18 points. Kelsie Meintel added 16 points and a team high 16 rebounds. Allison Kuhn contributed 12 points for Bethany.
Women's Basketball Grinds Out Win in Overtime over Tomcats

Bethany, W.Va – The Bethany College women’s basketball team returned to Hummel Field House for a PAC matchup Wednesday evening against the Thiel College Tomcats. The Bison grinded out a 63-57 overtime win over the Tomcats. Sophomore Kelsie Meintel led the Bison with 19 points. Allison Kuhn added 12 points and 10 rebounds and Courtney Walker contributed 10 points for the Green and White.

Greenville, Pa – Bethany College women's basketball player Abbey Dobbins (Aliquippa, Pa | Hopewell), was announced as Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Rookie of the week for her performance last week for the Bison. The weekly laurel is Dobbins second of the season.
Women's Basketball Tops Geneva

Bethany, W. Va – The Bethany College women’s basketball team hosted the Geneva Golden Tornadoes to open up the second half of PAC conference play Saturday afternoon, inside Hummel Field House. The Bison held off the Golden Tornadoes, winning 75-66. The Green and White had four in double figures. Sophomore Courtney Walker led the Bison with 16 points. Sophomore Kelsie Meintel and Junior Allison Kuhn each registered double-doubles while adding 14 points for the Green and White. Kuhn had a team high 11 rebounds while Meintel pulled in 10. Freshman Alexis Heap added 12 points for the Bison.

A late surge boosted Waynesburg past Bethany, 74-73. Sophomore Courtney Walker led the Bison with a career-high 32 points. Freshman Abbey Dobbins added a career-high 22 points for the Green and White.
