Heap Earns PAC Rookie of the Week Honors

Greenville, Pa – Bethany College women's basketball player Alexis Heap (Akron, Ohio |Copley), was announced as Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Rookie of the week for her performance last week for the Bison.

Heap scored a career-high 11 points in Saturday's 53-49 victory at Thiel. She pulled in seven rebounds and dished out a pair of assists while shooting 5-of-9 from the field. Over the last three games, Heap is averaging 4.3 points and 3.7 rebounds. She has appeared in all 12 games while starting four for the Green and White.

Bethany returns to action on Wednesday, January 8 when they travel to Pittsburgh, Pa for a PAC contest against the Chatham Cougars at 6 pm.
