Women's Lacrosse Rolls Past Anderson

Anderson, IN – The Bethany College women's lacrosse team faced Anderson University in a non-conference tilt on Sunday afternoon. The Bison clipped the Ravens 11-9.  

GAME OVERVIEW

The Bison attacked first getting a goal from Mia Colon just three minutes in the game. Anderson tied the game at 1-1 a few minutes later. Bethany fought back and added a goal coming off of Ayana Crawford's stick. The Bison lead wouldn't last for long, when the Ravens scored within twenty seconds of the Bison goal. They added another goal with under 15 minutes to go to take the lead, 3-2. Bethany scored four goals giving the Bison the lead, 6-4, heading into halftime.

The Ravens scored in fifty seconds to start the second half and scored three more after that to take back the lead. Bethany's Cassidy Mailloux scored to knot the game at 7-7. Anderson and Bethany battled back and forth again, with Bethany taking the lead for good. Lindsey Cornish scored the Bison's last three goals to give them their second win of the season.
