Bethany Stings Waynesburg For First PAC Win

Bethany, W. Va – The Bethany College women's lacrosse team faced Waynesburg for a PAC matchup Saturday afternoon at Bison Stadium. The Bison picked up the first ever PAC win defeating the Yellowjackets, 14-5.  

GAME OVERVIEW

Bethany jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead in the first half. Ayana Crawford scored two of the four Bison goals. Rikiah Wise and Cassidy Mailloux each scored to help give the Bison the lead. Waynesburg fired in three straight goals to cut the Bethany lead to one. Bethany would add on two goals before the half from Mailloux and Wise hitting the back of the net. The green and white led 6-3 at the half.

In the second half, it was all Bethany. The Bison scored eight goals to give the green and white a commanding lead. Rikiah Wise and Dearra Harrison combined for five goals in the second half while three other Bison scored throughout the half. Bethany rolled by the Yellowjackets 14-5.
