First Half Deficit Too Much for Bison to Overcome

Bethany, W. Va – The Bethany College women's lacrosse team faced Saint Vincent for a PAC matchup Thursday afternoon at Bison Stadium. The Bison fell to the Bearcats 19-4.

GAME OVERVIEW

Saint Vincent jumped out to a 7-0 lead and never looked back. Bethany got on the scoreboard with under 18 minutes to go in the first half from an Ayana Crawford goal. The first half was all Saint Vincent with the Bearcats leading 14-1. Rikiah Wise started the second half for the Bison with a riffle to the back of the net. The Bearcat lead extended to 14 before Dearra Harrison scored for the Bison. Rikiah Wise hit the back of the net again with 11 minutes to go in the second half. The Bearcat lead would be too much for the Bison to overcome.
