Women's Lacrosse Falls to Chatham

Pittsburgh, Pa  – The Bethany College women's lacrosse team faced the Chatham Cougars for a PAC matchup Friday afternoon at Ellis Field. The Bison fell to the Cougars, 18-7.

GAME OVERVIEW

The Cougars were in control in the first half, leading 3-0 before the Bison could get on the scoreboard. Cassidy Mailloux scored off a Tori Magnotti pass. The green and white cut the Cougars lead in half when Dearra Harrison riffled in a free position shot. The Cougars led 4-2 before extending their lead to nine going into halftime. Bethany held Chatham to seven goals in the second half. The Bison were able to get five goals in the second half. Rikiah Wise got the Bison started in the second half scoring with 19:59 to go in the contest. Minutes later, Wise riffled in another shot to put the Bison on the board again. Mia Colon scored with 14:25 to give Bethany their fifth goal in the game. With 13:40 to go in the contest, Rikiah Wise riffled in her third goal to give the Bison six goals on the game. Bethany got their final goal of the match from a Mia Colon pass to Cassidy Mailloux.
