Sparks Earns PAC Player of the Week Honors

Greenville, Pa – Senior volleyball outside hitter, Katie Sparks (Macedonia, Ohio | Trinity) was announced as Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Player of the week for her performance last week.

Last week for the Bison, Sparks totaled 41 kills, 55 digs, and 52.5 points leading Bethany to a 3-0 week setting career bests in service aces and digs. In Saturday's 3-1 win at Chatham, she finished with 14 kills and a career-high 28 digs. In Wednesday's sweep over Saint Vincent, Sparks totaled 10 kills, 15 digs, and a career-best six service aces. She hit .233 over the three league wins.

Sparks currently leads the PAC with 347 kills and 399.5 points thus far this season. Currently, Sparks ranks third on the all-time kills list with 1,366 and eighth on the all-time digs list with 1,222.

The Bison return to the court on Tuesday, October 29, when the Westminster Titans come to town for a PAC showdown at 7 pm.
