BETHANY, W.Va. – The Bethany College women's lacrosse hosted Mount St. Joseph University on Don Ault Field at Bison Stadium Saturday afternoon. Cassidy Mailloux's six goal performance paced the Bison in a 12-5 victory. Mailloux's six goal performance ties her own record for most goals in a game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bison jumped out to a 2-0 lead after Cassidy Mailloux scored both goals in the first period.
- MSJ cut the deficit in half early in the second quarter, but the Bison scored the next four goals. Emily Wenger found the back of the net along with Jada Carter while Mailloux added two more goals to her stat sheet.
- The Bison led 6-1 after the first two quarters of the play.
- The third quarter saw a scoring drought until the 5:51 mark when the Lions scored. The Bison were able to find the back of the net twice after Alexa Taylor and Karley Trinidad got in on the scoring action.
- The Lions once again let the quarter with a goal, but the Bison's Abbie Carpenter answered back. The Lions added two more goals but the Bison were able to respond with a pair of goals from Mailloux and a goal by Trinidad.
BISON TOP PERFORMERS
- Cassidy Mailloux led the Bison with six goals
- Abbie Carpenter had one goal and one assist and a team-high seven draw controls
- Jada Carter, Emily Wenger and Alexa Taylor had one goal apiece.
- Karley Trinidad had two goals while Joanna Melita had one assist.
- Emily Wenger, Cassidy Mailloux and Gracie Gonzales had 10 groundballs each.
- Leah Crihfield had seven saves.
BY THE NUMBERS
