Women's Lacrosse: Mailloux earns PAC Postseason Recognition

TRAFFORD, Pa. – Bethany College senior midfielder Cassidy Mailloux (Bell River, Ontario / École secondaire catholique l'Essor) was recognized by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Friday morning when the PAC released its postseason awards for the recently completed season.

Mailloux earned All-PAC Honorable Mention. As a solid two-way midfielder, she finished the season with 47 points, 42 goals, 67 groundballs, 56 draw controls and 26 caused turnovers. She registered a goal in all but one game this season and led the Bison in four statistical categories. She earned PAC Offensive Player of the Week honors in week two.

For her career, she totaled 111 goals with 132 points. Early in the season, she became the all-time career goals and points record holder after scoring two goals in the win over Anderson and sits second behind teammate Joanna Melita on the all-time assists list with 21 career assists. She holds the all-time record for groundballs (176), draw controls (200) and caused turnovers (86) whiling holding multiple single-season records.

Freshman Janez Matthews (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) was named to the PAC Sportsmanship Team.
