New Wilmington, Pa – The Bethany College football team opened up the 2021 condensed spring season against the Westminster College Titans Friday evening. The Titans used a strong first half to defeat the Bison, 42-21.
Game Overview
The Titans scored a touchdown in their first six drives, taking a dominant lead. Bethany's Colton Stoneman got the Bison on the board in the second quarter. He ran it in for nine yards with 4:37 left in the half. In the third, De'Vaughn McWhorter caught a 12-yard pass from Dom Salinetro to give the Bison their second score on the game. Marquice Robinson connected with Brennan Secrist for an 8-yard touchdown pass with 6:55 left in the game.
