Westminster Men Cruise in Victory over Bethany

New Wilmington, Pa. – The Bethany College men's basketball team traveled north to New Wilmington, Pa for a PAC contest against the Westminster College Titans. The Titans cruised by the Bison, 76-64. The Green and White was led by Dalton Hamrick with 16 points.

GAME OVERVIEW

Bethany started off the game with two straight possessions with a turnover, allowing the Titans to score first and never look back in the contest. The Green and White's first bucket came off the hands of Dalton Hamrick who nailed a three brining the Bison within one, 4-3. Bethany began to slowly watch the game get away from them, as Westminster took a commanding 29-11 lead with just under ten minutes to go in the half. However, the Bison sparked a run to cut the deficit to single-digits before the break. The Titans led 37-29 going into intermission.

Both team exchanged buckets to start the second half. Then Westminster took full control of the rest of the second half. The Titans led by as much as 21 points three times forcing 19 Bison turnovers and holding the Green and White to 39.0% on the game. Bethany's bench outscored Westminster's 23-18, but wasn't enough to overcome the deficit.
