Men's Lacrosse Falls to Randolph

Lynchburg, Va. – The Bethany College men's lacrosse team traveled south for a non-conference contest against Randolph College Wildcats. The Wildcats defeated the Bison, 12-8.

GAME OVERVIEW

Randolph held the lead from the beginning scoring the first goal one minute into the first period. The Wildcats took a 2-0 lead before the Bison hit the back of the net. Freshman Aarin Burton netted a goal from Khoury Kloss to cut the lead in half. The Wildcats would net two more to take a 4-1 lead after one.

In the second the Bison battled scoring three goals. Nicholas Melita rocketed one in to make the score 5-2. Randolph tacked on another goal before Bethany scored the final two goals of the period. Tristan Shaffer and Clay Yingling both scored for the Bison during that time.

In the third and fourth periods, the Wildcats continued to build their lead, outscoring the Bison 6-4. Bethany's freshman Khoury Kloss netted two more for the Green and White.
