Judulang breaks own school record in Senior Day tri-meet

BETHANY, W.Va (Jan. 28) - The Bethany swimming and diving team participated in a Senior Day tri-meet with Cabrini and Franciscan at the Knight Natatorium on Saturday.

Women's diver Mia Judulang (Cupertino, Calif./Monta Vista) broke her own school record in the 1 meter six dive, posting a 230.95, breaking the previous mark of 228.10. 

Also for the women, Christine Pray (Canton, Mich./Canton) placed second in the 1000 Yard Freestyle touching the wall in 12:26.72. Also for the women, Alaina Geer (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) finished third in the 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of 2:34.77. 

For the men, Cheyne Stresky (Oxford, Mich./Oxford) took home first in the 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:58.61. Chandler Chafins (East Liverpool, Ohio/Beaver) placed second in the 100 Yard Butterfly, touching the wall in 1:04.97. Mark Tichenor (Pittsburgh, Pa./Brentwood) and Cameron Dietch (Fishers, Ind./Fishers) swam in the 200 Yard Backstroke, finishing with times of 2:30.37 and 2:32.75, respectively.

Next up, the Bison will travel to Grove City College for the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships to be held, starting on February 9 at 10:00a.m.
