Swimming and Diving: Bison Finish Sixth; Thomas Named to PAC Sportsmanship Team

Grove City, Pa. – The Bethany College men's swimming and diving team competed in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships hosted by Grove City College Thursday through Saturday.

Bethany finished sixth with 183 points.

On Thursday, the 200 yard freestyle relay team (Cullen Wise, David Thomas, Francisco Ramirez and Logan Marks) finished fifth with a time of 1:39.95.

Logan Marks finished ninth in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:10.76 and teammate Francisco Ramirez finished 10th touching the wall at 2:15.81.

On Friday, the 200 medley relay team (C. Wise, D. Thomas, F. Ramirez, L. Marks) finished fifth touching the wall with a time of 2:01.00.

Marks finished seventh in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:02.90. Ramirez finished 11th in the 100 backstroke with a time of 59.89.

On the final day of competition, Ramirez finished 10th in the 200 yard backstroke (2:10.87). The Bison had three finish in the top-15 in the 100 yard freestyle. Marks finished 8th (51.22), followed by David Thomas in 13th (54.26) and Cullen Wise (55.03). The relay team finished fifth in the 400 freestyle relay (3:37.41).

David Thomas was named to the PAC All-Sportsmanship team.
