Diversity and Inclusion Mission Statement 

The Bethany College Athletic Department Diversity Committee actively promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion as essential and important to its present and future success. These principles are valuable factors to the educational experiences of all members within our athletic department. It is our job as a committee to inform, educate, and denounce any form of racism, discrimination, bias, gender inequality, and wrong doing based on someone’s color, race, ethnicity, disability, religion, sexual orientation, sexual identification, or socioeconomic status.

We will promote and assure a positive student athlete experience on the campus of Bethany College. Our environment will be educational, safe, and welcoming to a diverse ad inclusive population. Our objective is to promote this experience while aligning ourselves with the values, beliefs, and actions of the institution.

This committee will also serve as a subcommittee to the President's Council on DEI and The Task Force on the Black Experience on Campus.
