Bio

Erikka Sansom joined the Bethany College Athletic Department as the Director of Athletic Communications in November of 2018

• At Bethany, Sansom oversees athletic communications efforts and is the primary contact for 22 NCAA Division III varsity programs, including media relations, game day functions, live stats, social media, the website (BethanyBison.com), publications and live event video production.  
• She is also a member of the department’s administrative staff.

• Sansom is a member of College Sports Communicators (CSC) 
• Serves on the college's Staff Council 

• Sansom received her Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and holds a Master's degree in Special Education Birth-8th Grade from Slippery Rock University.
• During her time at Pitt-Bradford, Sansom was a student-athlete and got her start in the athletic communications field where she worked with the sports information staff during the home athletic events.
• Sansom and her husband, Brian Sansom, Bethany's Director of Athletics, and their son Lucan, reside in Bethany, W.Va.
